Each budget is its own private spreadsheet — switch between them here. To open one a family member shared, or your budget from the old app, tap Open a shared or old budget (needs a free Google API key, one-time).

One flow: enter their email, NestBest grants them access, then you send them the app link to join. They log into the same budget with you — no separate personal budget unless they want one.

Bring in spending from a bank statement, a paste, or an old budget spreadsheet — so your history and budget suggestions are complete.

Off (default): your key stays on this device only. On: it's saved into this budget so anyone with Editor access to this Nest can use it — turn this on only if you mean to share one key with your household.

Get a free key in ~2 min at aistudio.google.com/app/apikey. Then tap 📷 on the Expense screen to scan. Always glance at the total — it reads the final paid amount.

Show each itemized category's bills as indented lines under it in your Account Summary tab (with their own budget & spent). Kept up to date automatically after you edit bills.

Tidies your transactions to the top, deletes the leftover empty rows (reclaiming space so imports don’t hit Google’s size limit), cleans the Year/Month columns to plain numbers (imports sometimes leave dates there), and rewrites the summary formulas to whole-column so they’re fast and never tied to a row count. Safe — no transactions or budget are removed.

Saves a dated copy of your whole workbook to your Google Drive, so you always have a restore point.

‘Erase’ clears your logged transactions, goals, and net-worth history but keeps your categories, budgets, and income set up. This can’t be undone.

Send this to anyone. They open it, sign in with Google, and get their own private budget — nothing of yours is shared.
