1. Who provides NestBest

NestBest is provided by Ulmer Consulting LLC ("we," "us"). By using NestBest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

2. What NestBest is

NestBest is a personal budgeting and net-worth tool that runs in your web browser and stores your data in a Google Sheets file in your own Google Drive. You need a Google account to use it. It is offered free of charge for personal use.

3. Your account and your data

• Your budget data lives in your own Google Drive. You are responsible for it, including keeping your own backups if you wish.
• You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for anyone you choose to share a budget with.
• You can stop using NestBest at any time and remove its access from your Google Account settings.

4. Acceptable use

Please use NestBest only for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, misuse Google's services through it, or use it to break any law.

5. Not financial advice

NestBest helps you track and plan your money. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make are your own; consider consulting a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

6. Third-party services

NestBest relies on Google services (sign-in, Google Drive, Google Sheets) and, only if you enable it, Google's Gemini API for optional receipt scanning. Your use of those services is also subject to Google's own terms and policies.

7. Availability and changes

NestBest is provided as-is and may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time. We aim to keep it working, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

8. No warranty

NestBest is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure it shows is accurate for your circumstances.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ulmer Consulting LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of NestBest. Because your data is stored in your own Google Drive, you retain control of and responsibility for it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of NestBest after a change means you accept the updated terms.
